XTRIM – Fully Automatic Grinding Machine for High-Precision Concrete Sample Preparation

Designed for demanding laboratory environments, XTRIM is our fully automatic grinding machine that ensures high reproducibility and minimal operator effort. With its automated grinding cycles, multiple specimens can be processed simultaneously, significantly increasing efficiency without compromising on precision.

The intuitive LCD touchscreen interface, powered by advanced firmware, allows users to select from 5 pre-set programs tailored to different sample shapes and sizes. For more specific needs, a custom mode is available, enabling full control over grinding parameters to adapt to various concrete strength levels.

XTRIM is a fully-automatic machine with the possibility to pre-set not only the grinding speed and the grinding deep but also the timing of polishing for a perfect finishing of sample surfaces.

It features an enclosed structure that not only improves operator safety but also reduces dust dispersion and lowers noise levels, creating a cleaner and quieter working environment, ideal for rigorous Quality Control applications.

The integrated water recirculation system, equipped with a pump and tank, eliminates the need for a direct water supply, ensuring flexible installation in any laboratory setting.

Features:

High-Capacity & Versatility

• Suitable for cylinder and cubes. The std configuration is suitable for testing cylinders with a diameter from 100 mm to 160 mm and max length of 320mm.

• 3 cradles as option are available for: I) 5 cylinders dia. 38-50mm; II) 3 cylinders dia. 50-100mm; III) cubes 100m and 150mm side. Cradles are not included. They shall be ordered separately.

• N.2 lever clamps for samples locking are included. Based on selected cradles, additional lever clamps shall be ordered separately.

• N.5 pre-set programs coupled with customizable ones.

• Water-cooled diamond grinding wheel for precise finishing.

• Adjustable grinding parameters: wheel speed, lateral pass speed, carriage approach speed, finishing time.

• PLC-controlled grinding cycle with variable speeds for roughing and finishing.

Robust & Safe

• Fully enclosed system preventing dirt splashes and dust.

• Mechanical movement of the diamond disk and sample tray with minimal maintenance.

• Integrated water recirculation system, no need for external water supply.

• Compact design and safety lock system prevents door opening during operation.
