The "True Triaxial Test System" is a set of advanced instruments for triaxial testing of soil mechanics properties. It can directly apply different stresses from the three directions of X, Y and Z to the cube sample to achieve a true triaxial test. The stress on the shaft can be used to study the complex loading process, the rotation of the principal stress, the plane strain and other complex triaxial stress conditions.
The true triaxial apparatus of GDS has both static and dynamic, dynamic true triaxial apparatus is compatible with the function of static true triaxial apparatus. The dynamic true triaxial apparatus can choose one axis to be dynamic, or two or three main test axes to be dynamically loaded, which depends on the budget investment and test purpose.
The principle of the true triaxial test system is simple, but it has not been widely used for many years. The main reason is the loading boundary condition in the true triaxial test. Due to the large amount of deformation of the soil, it is easy for the loading plates to conflict with each other during the loading process, resulting in the loading boundary conditions not being successfully simulated.
On the rotor of the loading mode, GDS can provide the classic servo motor loading mode of GDS, and can also provide the electro-hydraulic servo loading form of larger load, which meet the requirements of various testing purposes. The true triaxial apparatus of GDS adopts GDSLAB modular software. The platform can also develop further test functions according to the special needs of users.
