• 1 x GDS Shearbase System for simple shear tests at 10kN capacity.
• 1 x GDS Electromechanical Dynamic Cyclic Simple Shear Device for cyclic simple shear tests at 10kN, 2Hz capacity.
• 2 x Modified GDS Automated Oedometer System for continuous rate of loading consolidation to 5MPa loading pressure, as well as triaxial tests up at 10kN capacity for UU, CIU/CID or hydraulic conductivity (constant head triaxial permeability) tests. 
• 2 x GDS Triaxial Automated Systems up to 40kN capacity, with extended base to accommodate bender element if required. 
• 1 x GDS Advanced Dynamic Triaxial Testing System for cyclic triaxial tests at 10kN, 2Hz capacity.

 

The container can be adapted for customers specific testing requirements, including torvane, lab vane, fall cone, oven etc.

The laboratory can operate on a vessel or any onshore location in the world, including remote outback areas. We currently have one container and of course it is subject to availability. However, we have room to set up another laboratory, should there be demand. We can customise the laboratories to meet our client requirements, including a temperature controlled laboratory refrigerated container, that can operate at 4oC if required.”
