The Instant Release and Inhalation Method (TRIM) Transient Release and Imbibition Method TRIM System is an easy-to-use laboratory facility for measuring unsaturated soil water characteristic curves (SWRC) and hydraulic conductivity (HCF). The way to complete the experiment is more time-saving. The remodeled and original SWRC and HCF curves can be measured in only 5-7 days during moisture absorption or desorption. The system can be used in either steady state or transient mode and can be applied to all major soil types including sand, silt and clay.
